Kristin Lemberg

Kristin received much of her early training in Ballet academies and from Viola Farber at Sarah Lawrence College. She also studied theater at Dallas Theater Center, the British American Drama Academy and Sarah Lawrence College where she received her B.A. in 1993. In 1998, she danced in the world premiere of Exusiai, by the world renowned, Butoh progenitor and choreographer, Akira Kasai. Exusiai was performed at Center for the Arts at Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco, CA. Kristin has also danced in Mae Chesney´s Interference(1995) and Listening(1994); Kimiko Guthrie´s in this house (1996) and Recollections of a Hapa Cowgirl (1997); and was a principal dancer for Brechin Flournoy´s Underbelly Dance Theatre, in which she danced in the trio Seal (1997) and the roles of the Mermaid in Underbelly´s Little Mermaid(1996) and Albrecht in Giselle(1994). Kristin is a founding member of the RK Corral.
