Rajendra Serber

Rajendra has worked as a solo artist/choreographer and collaborated with other choreographers to integrate dance and video. In May 1995 he choreographed and directed The Nature Pictures, which premiered at Dancers´ Group Footwork in San Francisco as part of the Bread & Butter Series; it included 23 Actors, Dancers, Athletes and Musicians on an eight foot square of Astroturf. He has also collaborated with Kimiko Guthrie´s In This House in the pieces: Through the Window and On the Tube (which he choreographed using dance and live video specifically for Ms. Guthrie´s production). Rajendra was a guest artist at the Conservatory Theater Ensamble, where he developed a performance called The Rabbit Tales . As a dancer, he has performed in Jon Weaver´s Flaming Joan and the Cold Hard Cash Variations. He was the Associate Producer of Kate Foley´s House of Dance, which is broadcast bimonthly on San Francisco´s public access channel. He graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 1994, Currently he is the co-producer, director and a performer in Enie Macy and the 10 Step Program, which was nominated for two Isadora Duncan Awards (San Francisco´s most prestigious award for dance and performance art) and was screened by The Kitchen (NY) at this year´s Berlin Video Festival, Transmedial. Rajendra is a founding member of the RK Corral.
