Please join us to experience a variety of poets, authors, and musicians who will come together for a celebratory evening of words and music. Bay Area contributors Alia Volz, Marcos Soriano, and Sona Avakian will read from San Francisco-based literary journal, Instant City’s, fifth issue entitled Crime. Authors Dustin Heron, Sarah Fran Wisby, and Ali Lawrence will read their published works of poetry, prose, and fiction from the local Small Desk Press, threaded with local musical acts by Si, Claro and Lazarus. Toronto-based author and sound artist Brian Joseph Davis will also perform and read from his fictionalized autobiography of Patty Hearst I, Tania.
