Hypothesis: An Art/ Science Fair showcases the ways in which both artists and scientists ask questions, experiment with processes, and arrive at outcomes. Participants will be asked to represent their practices (whether art, science, music, performance, or other) using the scientific method and present it in the form of a traditional science fair display board. The collection of displays will be exhibited in a traditional science fair format where viewers will be able to see and explore the questions posed from multiple artistic, scientific, and other perspectives. The simple format allows for a wide range of projects to be presented on levels that will approachable for a wide audience. Hypothesis: An Art/ Science Fair will be held at The Lab in conjunction with the Bay Area Science Festival, and as is tradition, cookies and punch will be served and prizes and ribbons will be awarded.
