Space Rental


Space rentals generally occur during or between exhibition programming. Rental events may occur after office hours (Tues-Saturday evenings from 6pm to 10pm) or Sunday and Monday when the gallery is closed. Please contact The LAB about space availability. All rental events must end by 10:00 PM. The premises must be vacated and the doors locked by 10:30 PM.

Maximum occupancy: 80 seated, 200 standing

Rental fee: $1000 up to 6 hours, $150 each additional hour

Security Deposit: $200 (refundable if space is returned to original condition)

Electrical
No heaters or ovens of any kind are allowed due to electrical restrictions

Equipment
Tables, chairs, and pedestals are available for use at no charge. The LAB provides rentals of audio/visual equipment for a nominal fee. A technician is available for $40 an hour to assist with audio/visual/production assistance if arranged in advance.

Fiscal Sponsorships


The LAB's fiscal sponsorship program allows artists and arts organizations to utilize our tax-exempt status when raising money from foundations, government, and corporate sources that generally give funds only to non-profit organizations.

As your fiscal sponsor, The LAB will provide timely acknowledgment of contributions to donors for tax purposes. We maintain a record of all funds received and distributed. A 7% fee on all money raised is charged for this service, which is lower than what most other organizations charge.

We support visual, performing, and literary arts projects. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
